Reimagined Playbill Covers
These are Playbill covers I envisioned in my own style, just for fun. I am a huge musical fan and I have a small collection of Playbill covers of shows I was very fortunate to have watched in NYC. I tend to gravitate towards creative and well thought-out Playbills, and if given the chance to create a real one, this is how I imagine I’m going to approach it. Here’s to manifesting that dream!
Disclaimer: I am not affiliated with Playbill in any way and these are posters merely created to entertain the ideas in my head!

In coming up with these covers, I thought of playing around with certain easter eggs that people who are familiar with the shows will be able to pick up. I’m also a fan of clever posters that can easily engage the viewers—posters that require a second, or even a third look to be able to find several elements that weren’t initially obvious at first glance. One example of that concept is the poster I created for Wicked—at first look you can obviously see Elphaba’s hat and the yellow brick road, but a much closer look will give you the hidden silhouettes of Glinda and Elphaba that formed the shape of the hat.
Below are the versions without the Playbill logo.
